Compasso d’Oro
Established in 1954, the ADI Compasso d'Oro Award is the oldest and most respected design award in the world.
Born from an idea by Gio Ponti, it was organized for years by the La Rinascente department store with the aim of highlighting the value and quality of Italian design products, then in their infancy. It was subsequently donated to the ADI, which has overseen its organization since 1958, ensuring its impartiality and integrity.
